I’m Erin Bunn. I’m a veggie farmer, a certified health & life coach, a lover of food and a helper of people. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Kansas State University and received my coaching certifications from the Health Coach Institute. Prior to becoming a health coach and farmer, I worked for more than 15 years in social services, including community mental health, adoption and home visitation with families who were pregnant or had very young children.

One day, I found out I had high cholesterol, and the doctor wanted me to start taking medication. I was 36, not overweight and overall pretty healthy.  It didn’t seem fair. I felt so many emotions, including sadness, fear and anger.

I took all of those feelings and used them as fuel to motivate me. I made changes but did it in a way that didn’t make me feel deprived and also fit my busy lifestyle being a mom and working full time. I successfully lowered my cholesterol without medication! Not only that, I felt better than I ever had!

That was when I realized I weirdly enjoyed the process and in fact, I enjoyed it so much I wanted to help others do the same. So, after more than 15 years working in social services, I became a health coach and veggie farmer. I’m able to use not only my formal training, but also my own life experience plus many years of working with people to help others change their lives as a coach and help them access higher quality foods  as a farmer.

In my free time, I enjoy family, nature, chickens, dogs, music, food, wine...you know, the usual. :)
